Liverpool & Lichfield shows coming up!

27/6/2014

July will see us visit the Lantern Theatre in Liverpool and the Lichfield Garrick Theatre so make sure you book to see us if you are nearby! The Lantern was one of our first ever gigs a couple of years ago and we had a great time so we're looking forward to returning there, and the Garrick is a theatre we've been waiting to play for a while so don't miss out!

In the background we're still working on our new CD - some drums went down last week courtesy of our good friend Adrian Rea, and we're talking to a great artist at the moment about the possibility of using his talents for some artwork. It's unlikely things will be ready for these two upcoming July shows but be sure to drop us a message on our contact page and we'll let you know when its ready and available.

You can also stay in touch by liking our Facebook page - we'll be posting about the CD over there too!

We wanted to say a warm thank you to everyone who came to see us at Bury Met and at the Guildhall in Derby over the weekend. What great venues! And it was great to play to such appreciative audiences. We were very grateful for the kind words from Gordon, a guitar player himself who has made instructional videos about James Taylor's guitar playing.
We also had a blast catching up with Bernie & Gill - thanks for the roast!
We're edging ever nearer to the completion of our first CD, make sure you Like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter to be notified about the release date :-)

Devon, Traffic Jams & Recording . . .

South Molton oldSouth Molton, a little while ago
After surviving a long drive and the traffic jams of Bristol we had a warm response upon arrival in South Molton, Devon. Our sincere thanks to all who came down, we really appreciated all the comments after the show. We feel like we made some new friends that night. Also we'd like to send our compliments to the chef for our incredible Thai curry.

Our focus has been split over the past few weeks between our regular live shows and recording our first full album. We're pleased to say that we are making great progress having finished all the guitar parts over the weekend, so we're pushing on with the piano, keyboards, and a few extra surprises to be revealed later! Stay tuned!

Gigs up next week are The Met, Bury and Guildhall, Derby so spread the word to all your friends in Lancashire and Derbyshire!

March Shows coming up !

Our first UK James Taylor shows of the year are coming up! We've had a little break over the winter for other work but we're back, and now that Jon is over the jet-lag from his trip to the Philippines with Jack Jones, we're raring to go!

We'll be hitting Worcester, Bath, Crawley and Leicester on consecutive nights from March 20th on a kind of a tour of the south-west (ish!) so go check out the websites and get yourselves booked in!

We unfortunately had to postpone our Liverpool show but that has been successfully re-scheduled for July 11th. Apologies to anyone who had a ticket for that but we are looking forward to returning to the Lantern Theatre after a great response to our show last year.

In other news, we're currently editing some video footage from a shoot over the weekend and we'll hopefully have that ready to view within the week.

We hope to see you all on the road!
